Saalex Corporation Announces New Director of Process Improvement and Integration

Rockledge, FL and Camarillo, CA (June 5, 2019) – Saalex Corporation recently appointed Garrison Thompson as the new Director of Process Improvement and Integration, located in the Rockledge office. In this new position, Mr. Thompson will be responsible for enterprise transformation initiatives and work directly with Vice President/Chief Strategy Officer Arthur Glaab to establish strategic goals and objectives for the company.

Garrison Thompson brings over 30 years of experience in the aerospace and defense, systems development and commercial technology industries. He has led and planned infrastructure upgrades, software and hardware product deployments and strategic operations as a leader in Fortune 100 companies. Prior to joining Saalex, Garrison served as a program manager, vice president and business development leader, engaging with senior executives and flag officers as well as defining strategic solutions for technical services efforts. He has also served as Chief Engineer for numerous Army range training and Air Force space lift range systems modernization and sustainment contracts. In 2002, he was awarded NASA's highest recognition, the Space Flight Awareness Launch Honoree Award for STS 111. Garrison is a Project Management Professional, a Lean Six Sigma Certified Black Belt, is ITILv3 Foundations Certified and is a Cisco Certified Network Associate. He holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Aviation Management and a Master of Science in Systems Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.

Saalex Corporation Announces New Corporate Staff

Rockledge, FL and Camarillo, CA (Jan. 8, 2019) -- Saalex Corporation recently announced several new additions to our corporate staff. Arthur Glaab has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer for Saalex Solutions. John Dutton is the new Saalex Information Technology Business Development Manager. Both gentlemen are located in our Rockledge office. David Luna is our new Safety and Training Manager in the Temecula office. Tracy Fessler is our new Proposal Manager in the Camarillo office.

As the Chief Strategy Officer, Art Glaab will assist Travis Mack, Saalex Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with the development and execution of strategic initiatives. Mr. Glaab has 35 years in the aerospace and defense industries. Beginning as an engineer on the shuttle program, and culminating as a Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy in a Fortune 500 firm, Mr. Glaab has provided leadership in a wide variety of roles including engineering, program management, business development, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Customers that Mr. Glaab has served include the USAF, USA, USN, NASA and the intelligence communities. Mr. Glaab holds a Master of Arts in Finance and Business from Webster University.

John Dutton, SaalexIT Business Development Manager, is responsible for sustaining and growing IT client and partner relationships. He has managed business relationships with Fortune 500 companies, federal government agencies, educational institutions and research laboratories throughout North America. Prior to joining Saalex Solutions, Mr. Dutton has held a variety of business development positions at Emu Technology, Fujitsu America, Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Company. He holds a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University.

David Luna, Safety and Training Manager is responsible for ensuring safe working environments for all employees in adherence to company policies and government regulations as well as coordinating and documenting required company training such as security and supervisory classes. He began his career in the Marine Corps as a Supply Administrative Clerk but retired as a Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist. As a Marine, he held multiple instructor and safety responsibilities. Prior to joining the Saalex team, Mr. Luna worked in Afghanistan as an advisor for the Afghan National Army on intelligence related issues. He has a Bachelor of Science from Park University and has been accepted into Texas A&M University School of Law.

Tracy Fessler, Proposal Manager, will be managing all aspects of proposal development for Saalex Solutions. Ms. Fessler has held various proposal and administrative positions for multiple defense contractors and City of Thousand Oaks. She has a Bachelor of General Studies from Northern Illinois University.

Engineering Company to Fill 54 Positions Overall, Majority in Ridgecrest Facility

Camarillo, CA (April 8, 2018) -- Saalex Solutions, a division of Saalex Corporation, an engineering and information technology services company, announced today it is looking to fill 54 open positions company-wide, with the majority of those in its Ridgecrest, CA facility. The openings include jobs across exciting, high-tech projects for engineers, analysts, technicians, and managers. Salaries range from competitive hourly wages to well into six figures for professional engineering positions and subject matter experts.

The need for additional employees is a result of industry demand and the continuing growth of the company, which now has more than 600 full-time staff in several locations in the U.S. Most of the positions for which Saalex is hiring are involved with two large programs with the U.S. Navy in California.

Saalex Awarded Navy Seaport Next Generation Contract

Rockledge, FL and Camarillo, CA (Dec. 10, 2018) -- Saalex Corporation doing business as Saalex Solutions has been awarded the Navy Seaport Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering support services and program management support services.

The Navy awarded multiple-award contracts (MACs) to businesses in locations across 46 of the 50 United States under the SeaPort-NxG contract vehicle. The government estimates approximately $5 billion of services per year will be procured through awards to special small business set-asides including service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) such as Saalex Solutions.
